THE PRESTIGIOUS RIAS BAIXAS
In Galicia you will find 800 miles of magnificent coastal archipelagos, multiple estuaries and natural inlets that create a nautical paradise to navigate. There’s also numerous ports and beaches with easy anchorage, and dozens of large marinas where you can practice moorings.
In the Rias Baixas, in addition, the weather is quite predictable and thanks to the protection of the estuaries we can go sailing in any weather condition. All these conditions make the estuaries one of the best sailing grounds in the world.

I have been sailing for as long as I can remember. I started in dinghy racing, continued as a sailing instructor for children and continued as an adult instructor and racing team coach. As a marine biologist I have worked in different oceans on fishing and oceanographic vessels. For the last 20 years I have been a professional skipper and instructor of nautical qualifications.

Cristian Vázquez

I have been sailing since I was 8 years old. Started with lasers and then moved on to windsurfing and kitesurfing. After a few years teaching scuba diving, I returned to the industry to work as an RYA Instructor and also in the private sector, where I skippered large powerboats and sailboats all over the world. In 2019 became an RYA examiner for motor and sailing.

Hannah Gilmour

I have been sailing recreationally all my life, including a couple of Atlantic crossings, so when I decided to change course and sail professionally it seemed natural to become a skipper. I have a deep affinity with the ocean and a passion for everything to do with the sea. In my previous career as a teacher I learned about teamwork and resilience, ideal skills in sailing. Since then, I have worked on board training ships and other yachts with people of all ages who share my enthusiasm and experience.
